The Japanese noodle soup stuff my friend bought me all those nice packages of proved just as nice the second time. This time I tried adding some frozen veggies. Worked well, though next time I think I'll just try tossing them in at the same time as everything else. They got a bit over cooked this time.

Anyway, the question is one of the things in the "vegatable" packet. Something is chunks of dark green (like cooked spinach or brussell sprouts) leafy material. Abiut the consistency of cooked cabbage.

Best guess from the ingredients list is that it's either "Sea Tangle" or "seaweed". Any ideas?

I rather like the taste and consistency and I'm wondering if it's something I could find in oriental grocery stores. Especially if I can find it dried like in the packets. It reconstitutes really well, and I think it'd make a nice additive to some other stuff I make if I can find it (and if it isn't hideously expensive or something)
