End of an era
Jan. 1st, 2021 10:51 pmWhat with Yahoo pulling the plug on Yahoogroups on 12/15 I finally got around to doing some "housekeeping"
I've had a yahoo account for a *long* time, partly for the groups and partly for Yahoo Messenger. Since the current version of YM doesn't work with Trillian, I have no more need for the accounts.
Likewise I haven't need my AOL account (gotten solely to use AIM) for years. So a bit ago I deleted my AOL account as well.
Several less things to worry about/maintain.

Apr. 16th, 2017 03:53 amOk, I seem to have things working on Dreamwidth. My entries from LJ (and the comments) are in the queue, so in a couple days, they should be moved.
Meanwhile, I've got thing set to crosspost new entries to LJ and InsaneJournal. I'm kengr on all three.
If anybody on Dreamwidth is seeing this on LJ, and we are "friends on LJ, feel free to friend me on DW. Or tojust subscribe to me.

I went and did it.
Apr. 24th, 2003 10:39 pmI finally got around to buying a paid account here. I got the confirmation e-mail just a bit ago.
Now to figure out a few new icons. Maybe I should take a few pictures and have a few of the Photoshop experts here make a few changes. :-)

Jul. 15th, 2002 11:30 pm1. Call ISP about getting DSL
2. Call cable company to see about getting cable reconnected
3. Get video upgrade info for Lin & Kermit
4. Pay Light bill and phone bill(do Wed on way to meet Lin)
5. Go thru recertification for apartment (Tues)
6.Get CD drive info for Sam
7. Get CD- burner info for Kermit
8. Get case, motherboard & cpu info for Jeff
9.Figure out what cable extenders I need for main systems.
10.Buy cable extenders.
11. Buy more T-shirts with pockets.
12. Buy some tops that go with my skirts.
13.. Check out panties and swimsuits.
14. Buy Y membership.
15. Make followup appointment with doctor.
16. Make sure 5th diabetes class is scheduled for 8/13 and if so, let Lin know
17. Try to find where the config worksheet for the new Netware server got to so I can find the admin password.
18. try to figure out password for the NW 5 server
19. Try to to get more of the old binaries decoded.
20. Try to get more of the decoded binaries sorted thru.
21. Try to get more of the fonts checked out.
22. Find accountant and see what sort of mess real estate sales will make of taxes.
23. Visit storage locker and get more of the junk computers stripped.
24. Process excess computer parts.
25. Get help finding bugs with the OS/2 setup.
26. Get more shoes
27. Start looking for van again.
28. Find and try to install evaluation copy of tape backup software.

Changing my image
Mar. 8th, 2002 11:38 amI've got several pics I want to try, and I figured I'll change the image every few days until I find one that folks like or I like.
I picked Pinky (from the Pinky & the Brain cartoon) partly because we never do find out if Pinky is male or female.
