DST changes
Mar. 11th, 2007 03:18 amSince I was up, I watched my computers at the time change. Along with my cell phone.
Good thing I did as it turns out that even though Windows 2000 is still "supported", MS didn't decide it need to be automatically patched for the new rules.
A it of digging on MSes web site and I found the answer. I had to download a program (TZedit) and run it, then *manually* edit the time zone definitions.
When I get a Win98 box up again, I'll see if it'll work on that.
Grrr.

Found this one this morning
Date: 2007-03-11 05:01 pm (UTC)Of course, I did this after 2am local time, so I won't know until October how well it worked (unless I play with the date on the computer to test it).
Now I just have to change all the other clocks in the house, and then make sure the VCRs don't change again in a few weeks (sigh).
