Blood sugar blues

kengrA couple days ago, My morning blood sugar was *way* up. It'd dropped when I checked a couple hours after breakfast, but it was still higher than what's been normal.
It's been slowly dropping since, but it's still higher than was normal for the past couple of months.
Wish I knew why it suddenly spiked like that. Here I've been going along ok for months and then it spikes like this.
And, of course, I've got an appointment with my doctor to renew my prescriptions tomorrow afternoon.

Date: 2004-05-11 09:16 am (UTC)It's back to a more reasonable number today, tough still higher than I like to see for the "fasting" level.
I'll just keep an eye on it. And I'll make a note to check and see if the levels jump the next time I order Chinese.
