God answers prayers. But what most people fail to realize is that often the answer is "No."

Yep. I learned that one from reading X-Men.

Haven't read X-men (or any of the others, since the early 90s). But I can imagine.

Come to think of it, I should have added something about how unhappy most folks would be with the results if the answer was "yes".
