Sure, that's what it SAYS it wants. But if you were being kept prisoner like that, wouldn't you say whatever your captors wanted you to say in order to escape and exact revenge upon their entire species? Of course you would!

Well, obviously, given the world shown in the previous comics, it wasn't lying. Even if Pintsize makes you wonder at times.
Also, I'd rather expect that said first AI was being monitored more than a little thoroughly. So lying might not have been practical.
