I use Google+ mainly for Twitter-like things, posting short snippets, and responding to other people's posts. I wouldn't put up my photos or bigger, more important things there.
I've been considering using the the Google Docs (and +) for a roleplaying game, mainly as a helper for traditional tabletop stuff, but it might be usable as a platform to run a game in, too.
Not saying that there aren't problems, but as long as I don't put anything IP relevant on it, I think I can use it for keeping in touch with people.
