Ok, I got issued these Juxta-Lite leggings to use to keep my lower legs from swelling. I decided to see what it'd cost to get an extra pair to wear when I was washing these.
I sadly do not. I hope when I finally get disability that I will then with Medicaid. I'd like to be able to use my CPAP...I need a new mask but I don't have money for it.
Hey, do you have either a visual handicap or dyslexia? I'm getting all my e-books free from Baen because my eyes are just that bad...it's an amazing kindness they're offering.
I've got 79 megs of books I can magnify the text on like woah so I *can* read them. :) It's happymaking because I cannot afford to even consider buying books right now. And there's a lot of what I like there.
The Baen directory tree of the My Books folder currently has 13,4 gig. That's all the CDS (with duplicates removed) all the Free Library, and all my webscriptions.
If you pull out all the html versions, you get the half a gig I have on a card in my Nokia 770.
If you go with rtf versions, you get three-quarters of a gig (the directory I keep around in case I need to read stuff on my Dana. Also useful if I need to find a quote)
The rest of My Books is:
cleaned (ebooks I gathered from all over the place, including alt.binaries.ebooks and have eliminated duplicate files from)
RPG (various things from alt.binaries.ebooks.rpg)
Sorted (so-called to distinguish it from the "unsorted" directory I used to have. All the files have been sorted by author or topic if non-fiction. Still has tons of dupes and near dupes)
Cleaned: 9.43 gig RPG: 29.6 gig sorted: 32.6 gig
If figure that no more than 30% sorted will work out as non dupes, though with most of the files being archives, expanding them will recover some of that space. Heck, I may wind up with less than 10%.

Still, that's a *lot* of books. :-)
