Good Gods. And people wonder why the "differently oriented" are on about basic civil rights...

I guess her family would be happier with a dead/comatose son than a live daughter. Maybe someone should put it to them that way.

It's also a disabled rights issue. Not really any different than the *many* cases where families try to override the decisions/desires of disabled members.
