I've decided to make a list of stuff that would be nice to have but that I either can't justify spending money for, haven't had the spare cash for or (in a few cases) can't track down.

bike tire patch kit

batteries
NiMH AA (currently have 1800 mAhr, 200 mAhr and 2500 mAhr
NiMH AAA

charger that'll handle C and D rechargeables, and some D cells.

I've got a lot od stuff that uses AA, some that uses AAA, and a few things like flashlights and other emergency lighting that uses D batteries. Only thing that uses C cells is my old radio (kept for power outages) and I have a ton of those (thanks Lin!)

Ultra OneTouch teststrips (I'm down to the last 100, so they only get used if I've got reason to worry about my sugars.
Accucheck Aviva test strips (I got given a meter and have one container of 50(?) test strips

A new pair of black Crocs (alas, the size wore off mine. All I can say is that I normally wear 11.5-12 EEEE mens shoes. (I've got lots of sandals, and three pairs of *good* shoes I need to preserve for if I find work. I need something for other running around purposes.) Crocs work and this pair made it almost 3 years.

I misread that for a moment and thought you wore 11.5 IEEE shoes, and I was wondering which standard they transmitted on.

I've got an older charger that'll handle the C&Ds, that I don't use. Send me your address? (glinda, gmail, you know how to combine them). It probably won't get into the mail until after the 3rd, though.
