kengrFay and I are watching the pilot for the Battlestar Galactica spinoff Caprica.
It's set "50 years before the Fall". Which I assume means 50 years before the final Cylon attack on the 12 colonies (ie the start of the recent BSG series).

One of the major threads is a religious terrorist group. They are monotheists. And some of the comments made about them are going to have the AFA and the like *screaming*.
(From memory) "Doesn't such an absolutist viewpoint bother you? One all knowing good with an absolute black and white view of good and evil? What about the horrors committed in the name of such a god?"
