These folks can say this with a straight face even after things like abortion clinic bombings, death threats against doctors and very public statements about "somebody needs to kill Obama" during the campaign. Hell, it was a big thing that a lot of "Christian" groups *weren't* being considered as "terrorist type" groups even though they'd done far worse than groups that were so considered but were (for example) Muslim.
