In esssence, many people who spend a lot of time talking about how "honorable" they are, actually mean that they follow a set of rules and if you don't act they way they think you should under those rules, they they no longer have to apply them to you.

Sort of like how fundies feel free to lie, cheat and abuse folks who they consider sinners.
