Yet another example of one of the primary problems with our society. People seem to think that they have a right to not be offended.

Sorry, but no. In fact, such a right is incompatible with freedom of speech and of the press.

Something similar happened to me. I was kicked out of a bar for showing my midrift. I asked if they had a dress code, or if I'd broken any rules, and the manager told me that he had to ask me to leave because someone had complained. I asked again if what I was wearing was against their dress code, and he reiterated that he was only asking me to leave because someone had complained.

I think the question to ask would be "why do you value the complainer as a customer more than you do me?"
