A tool that lets people hack Google e-mail traffic is going to be wandering about out there soonish. This thing will let people steal your ID and screw around in your mail account.
The fix to avoid this is very simple:
Log into your Gmail account
Go to Settings at the top of the page.
The last entry in the settings page is the one you want: set it to "Always use https".
Click Save and you're now safe from the newest hacker toy.
