You thought the incoming classes were hard to teach before?

The Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board is considering certifying the Institute for Creation Research to offer Master's degrees in science education. If approved, some Texas schools will have science teachers whose qualifications are in Biblical creationism.

OMG Don't even get me started because I don't have the time to rant about this stupidity of the conservative right to have so much power over the education of our future generations.... I so need to leave this country.... When's my Italian citizenship coming thru...... ARGH!

Your icon says it all. Heck, one of my former coworker was incredibly proud of his doctorate - from a theological school. His dissertation (as near as I could tell) was about biological differences in man (Adam) before and after the fall.

No, not in an allegorical sense. Yes, he was serious.
