Years back when I could afford it and Orycon was generally *this* weekend instead of *next* weekend, I sometimes bought a sheetcake with the birthday greeting on it and had them put it out in Hospitality on the appropriate day.
*That* was geek points.
So was the year (long before they were a standard color) that I bought a bunch of the Easter M&Ms, and saved out the sky blue ones. Which I put in pill bottles and took to the con.
Offering folks "Reality Pills" got either a blank look or *very* interesting reactions from those who got the reference.
