Ancient Technology
May. 10th, 2007 11:37 pmToday I got hold of a bit of 20 year old computer technology.
Someone on the local Freecycle list had spotted a Tandy Model 102 notebook computer in a box of stuff about the be sent for recycling. I was the first person to reply to her who knew what it was (back in the day I was one of the "experts" on these and their cousin, the Model 100).
We made the exchange this afternoon. Aside from some doublesided foam tape and "Property of XXX" branded (literally!) into the back of the plastic case) it's in mint condition.
It'll be a nice addition to my collection. And unlike many other ancient computers I have, it's not huge and cluinky. :-)
