This bothers me...

kengrAt a local school a number of 12 & 13 year old boys have been charged with sexual assualt.
Apparently this all started with teachers spotting some of them swatting girls on the butt in the halls. Then the police got involved.
Parents are complaing that they never got contacted about any problem. And now the cops are saying that there was more "unwanted sexual touching" than just the swatting, but they can't disclose what was going on.
Ok, this may or may not be yet another case of schools and police over-reacting.
But what *really* bugs me is that I have to wonder if they pay this much attention to all the little bullying incidents that likely go on at that same school. Name-calling, shoves in the hall, etc.
Oh but *this* is more inportant. Because it's "sexual"....
