No trick or treaters (which is uasual for this building). Unless they showed up while I was dropping a couple of books off at a friends.
They live only a few blocks away, so I figured I could do it okay.
I rigged up a sort of costume. I stuck all the flashing "safety light" thingies I have on the waistband of my pants, in front. I then grabbed my nice cloak.
When I arrived at there place I threw open the cloak, exposing all the flashing lights.
Yes, I was a "flasher". :-)
Weather note. When I went for groceries around 2:30, I noticed that someone had thrown the slab of ice from the birdbath on the lawn. Yes, it'd frozen overnight and hadn't melted that much during the day. I'm sure my friends in Certain Other States are now horrified. :-)

Hey, in most years we have lawn all winter. Snow is an unfortunate rarity. We are far more likely to get ice storms :-(
In fact there was a warning for ice storms on the news last night. Probably up in the Gorge (Columbia River Gorge).
