New computer fun

Thanks to
mistresscayenne I have the computer I'd been building on and off for over a year up and running.
Still installing software and trying to deal with various bugs.
For example, my laptop (running XP) and the new system (running Win2K) can see each other on the LAN. But neither can access the shared drives on the other. This is making migration a major headache.
I got Agent 3.01 installed and configured (and ported over the files from the system this one replaced). Of course, since it had been *months* since I ran Agent on the old system (one of the drives was failing and I didn't want to lose things) I was a *bit* behind. Add in the fact that giganews had extended their retention time considerably and well...
"Retrieving up to 1777650 headers..."
Thank god they also allow 10 simultaneous connections. :-)
