Cisgender Questionnaire
1. When and how did you first decide that you were cisgender?
2. What do you think caused you to be cisgender?
3. How do you know what your "real" gender is? Are you sure?
4. Is there a reason you insist on associating your gender with your biological sex?
5. Couldn't you be transgender if you just tried a little harder?
6. Have you thought about the impact that being openly cisgender could have on your career?
7. Are you aware that being cisgender is considered a mental illness?
8. Have you ever considered just being transgender to fit it?
9. Do you think anyone will want to date you, knowing that you're cisgender?
10. At what point in the relationship will you disclose your cisgender status?
11. Why are cisgender people so obsessed with conforming to gender norms?
12. Have your thoughts about your gender been evaluated by a medical professional?
13. What do your genitals look like? Can I see? How do you have sex?
14. How do you feel about your body? What choices have you made about it, and why?
15. To whom have you disclosed your cisgender status?
16. Is it possible that your cisgender status stems from a neurotic fear of transitioning?
17. Don't you know that people expect you to have changed your name and pronouns by now?
18. Have you considered all of the health risks associated with not transitioning?
19. Would you want your children to be cisgender, knowing the problems they would face?
20. Is there a reason you feel compelled to pick one and only one gender, for your whole life?
21. Could you trust a cisgender therapist to be objective? How can you trust someone who has already made "that choice" for themselves?

This questionnaire reverses the questions that are often asked of trans people by cisgender people. By trying to answer this kind of question, one can gain some insight into how oppressive and discriminatory this frame of reference can be.

hmmmmmm I was looking up on the cisgender term becuase it wasn't one I was familiar with and I realized I am neither Cis or Trans gender as I don't always conform or not comform to societies views of my biological gender :) I have been told that at times I am very femme and at others I am more man than the guys they know...

So what does that make a person like me that does what they want with little regard to gender?
