We never poisoned a dragon. But I recall the time that a large party in the wilderness (a dozen or so PCs and around 100 hirelings) made the mistake of killing a large dragon as it was lining up to do a "strafing run" on them.
Yes. *Mistake*. Because it was already in the dive and landed on a good chunk of the party. Squish!
I based a Traveller character (retired Navy E-9, spent his thirty years in Engineering) on Keith Moon. Quiet, talented, prone to bursts of lunacy that resulted in air/rafts in swimming pools. Everybody loved him.
