I've got to thank griffen for turning me on to MusicMatch jukebox way back when. Last night it finally dawned on me that I could rip all my Christmas CDs onto a Jaz disk and then set one of the computers to looping it endlessly. So I now have over 7 hours of "background music" without having to swap CDs once or twice an hour. And the Jaz disk is only 3/4ths full. So it'll be a few years before that's a problem.

After the holidays, I'll try divvying up the rest of my CDs between a couple of Jaz disks to save wear and tear on them (and on me).

I've been reading reparo.

It's addictive, and since I don't feel like doing much, it's a fun way to kill time.

However, there are a few vocabulary problems, mostly in the OOC stuff.

Anybody want to explain the following?

I made the mistake of *assuming* that the LJ client would get the link right.

Thanks for that syntax. It let me figure out how to "properly" point to users as well. (<lj user=xxxx>)

And for future reference, you can put in the angle brackets by using &lt; and &gt;

I went to the trouble of looking up and memorizing those two html codes because I use those characters so much.
