Ok, so I'm weird

This morning, while coming half awake from a dream I found myself thinking something along the lines of:

Ok, if the parent of a parent is a grandparent, is a friend of a friend a grandfriend?

Ah, the logic of dreams...

The parent of a parent is a grandparent. The aunt of a parent is a grand aunt (or great aunt, which means the same). So a grandfriend must be the friend of a parent. :-P
