Warning. Long... Really!

We got there a bit late Friday. Got our stuff to the room, then had dinner and headed for the dungeon.

Nice dungeon area, given what they had to work with (basically a large room in a convention center). Lots of equipment, with a fair variety. Alas, the space wasn't big enough for the crowd once things got going. It was hard threading your way between scenes without intruding for *me*. And directing Lin, without talking enough to distract folks who were in the middle of scenes, was impossible. A couple times I had to resort to the major no-no of grabbing her and "steering". :-(

We would up having to have me laid out across a hay bale in one area. The overgrown beach towel thingie I'd brought for protecting equipment from my sweaty bod worked ok to protect me from the hay, but that bales was *hard*.

I have several bruises near my knees from that blasted bale. Mostly from when I was tensing up when Lin worked on me.

She was trying out a few new toys. Some home-made bamboo canes that a top who is bottoming to her made for her, and a thingies best described as a bundle of rattan sticks thinner than pencils.

I don't know what all the stuff she used was but she was learning to calibrate a few of them, so there was a fair bit of wrapping, and "wild" blows. I only yellowed a couple of times though I came close several times.

The first time was right at the start, as should forgotten how *nasty* one toy I've got is. She was barely swinging it, but that was quite enough for my non-warmed up butt. :-)

We had to stop when Lin was checking for welts and things and discovered I was bleeding. Actually, turns out that she'd broken the skin in *several* places. And my butt is *still* tender.

We went up to my room and talked a bit then laid down and rested some until Kermit called to say he was on his way to pick her up to go home.

I crashed out until about 8 am, and showered (fun with my tender butt :-) and headed off for Breakfast. Lin wasn't going to show up until the afternoon. I wandered thru the Vendor's area, and looked things over. I made note of things to get later, a few of which I should have gotten then. And I also made notes of stuff to point out to Lin. As usual, lots of stuff that's really tempting, but too expensive.

I went to of the morning workshops, but between the heat (the building was hotter than I'm comfortable with (which means it was maybe a hair warm for most folks)) and some other stuff, I was pretty uncomfortable by the end. I barely made it up to my room. Instead of lunch, I wound up having a slimfast, and laying down on the bed (with the CPAP).

So I missed the first afternoon workshop sessions. Lin was too late for the one she'd wanted. She went to one of the second session ones. I wandered the vendor area some more.

A friend we'd run into in the dungeon the nite before had expressed an interest in my new remote control Erostek boxes. I ran into her in the vendor's area (her Mistress was one of the Vendors). So she dug out he electric butt plug, that she normally uses with a TENS, and went off to insert it. When she came back I plugged it into one of the units, and ran it thru the paces.

We wound up having a semi-discrete scene in the vendors room for the next hour or so. Much to the amusement of the folks who knew what was going on.

She especially liked the built-in mike and the sound activation feature. We made a tentative date to try my mom-remote Erostek box later (the remote unit wasn't strong enough for her!!)

I picked up a replacement for the TENS unit that I gave

griffen, since Lin has some occasional use for one for *non*-play purposes. I also picked up an anal electrode for it (usable with the Erostek, with a cheap adapter), Turned out to be a *lot* smaller than the illustration on the box led me to believe. Worked fine when I tested it later though.

After Lin got out of the workshop, we did some more browsing of the vendor area. There were several things that interested her. Most were too expensive, a few were "should I spend this much?" stuff.

Lin went for a soak in the hotel's "spa" (ie fancy hot tub). That was one of the reasons she'd gone home Friday night. to get her swim suit. Next year, I'll know to pack mine.

Then we had dinner, and headed over to the dungeon. *Something* about the sound system messed with Lin's head. She had to go back out to the social area (way down the hall). At first she thought it was the music, but when she tried again later, they were playing a song she *likes*, but she still got weirded out by it.

She described it as :"I wanted to kill beat the hell out of something. And not in a fun way"

So we sat and talked with folks. And a few impromptu "show and tell" sessions developed.

For example, one of the Kinkfest staff wad this neat chain mail flogger. And was talking to someone I know about it. Call her A. He mentioned it was mostly for use with a violet wand.

She'd heard of violet wands, but didn't understand how it'd be used with the flogger. He had his with him (he was going to play in the dungeon after his shift checking wristbands). He couldn't show her it, because he was wearing a radio (like most of staff on duty).

He asked if I'd mind demoing.

So A and I took turns being each other's practice dummy. She *likes* violet wands now. :-)

She also liked my braided rubber flogger. She's been interested in my Electrical stuff (to use on me), but seemed bothered by the fact that a lot of the attachments are for the genitals and the like. Next time we talk, I'll have to point out that that's because those are the places with the most nerve endings, and that plain pads just don't work well there.

A and I did try a scene, but it was near the end of the dungeon and we only had time to get part way thru a warm up on my back. Drat.

My other friend who so liked the Erostek stuff had been tied up (literally in one case) with scenes she'd agreed to before we'd talked in the vendors area. So that didn't happen. But she gave her number to Lin and me. She wants us to call and set something up some day soon. We've known her for a while, so this isn't anything out of the blue.

We'll think about that when we've recovered. And probably say *YES!!!" She's a fun person anyway.

Today I was extra wiped out, and basically got up when Lin showed up, around 11. We got the room organized and I showered and changed. We went to the same workshop in the first afternoon session and then wandered the vendor area.

Lin got a few new things and looked at others. And I bought her a couple things. some cute "flogger" earrings, and this thing like a Solid rubber hose. But a bit more flexible.

I also noticed a rack of clothes she'd missed (her vision was pretty bad most of the weekend). One item was this red vinyl "nurses" uniform. It *almost* fit. If she loses just a bit more weight it will. And she looked good in it. I'm keeping it in mind for Christmas. :-)

But after things closed down at 4 she definitely wasn't up to

darklady_produc's party tonight. And I wasn't that interested. So we went home.

BTW, my butt is *still* tender from that working over. :-)
