Odd dream ideas...

Last night I had a dream where for part of it I was wandering around a con.

At one point there were a bunch of folks waiting to get into a room for a panel or demo or some such. Oddly, there was a dealer's table outside. They were selling some sort of silly toy such as folks like to mess with at cons.

I was talking to someone at the table and commenting on the toy they were demonstrating and pointing various other items that folks were playing with as they waited.

I said something about what they might be like in the future when they'd have much higher tech (I mentioned nanite clouds or some such).

Then the toys folks had morphed into higher tech versions and things got strange.

I recall a Colonial Viper being chased down the hallway by a TIE fighter at couple feet off the floor. And a barbarian action figure cleaving the TIE fighter in half with his sword as it flew over. :-)
