recurring themes

My dreams often have recurring themes.
One that goes *way* back is some sort of infinitely repeating obstacle course. First example I recall was in dreams where I was flying (slowly). I'd be getting blown towards power lines by the wind (not a very strong one, like I said, I flew *slowly). And as I got higher there kept being higher sets of power lines. Way beyond anything reasonable.
Or the trying to find someplace to pee.
But a couple of recent (as in last few years) ones are new. They involve some aspects of mental confusion. One is that I've moved, and I can't remember the address and am trying to figure out how to get home. Sometimes this involves having moved *several* times and not being sure which location is the one I currently live at.
Often it's that I know what buses to take to get there, but I'm not in a familiar neighborhood and I'm trying to get to somewhere I can find those buses. Or it's too late for the bus and I'm trying to figure out how to get there on foot.
This is a bit odd, because *normally* I have a decent mental map that I can use to do that sort of navigation.
Another one involves a misplaced cellphone. I can't recall the number, so I can't try calling it to find it. Or I'm trying to use an older phone that doesn't have my current contacts on it, and can't recall the numbers of friends to ask for help in finding where I live.
Also have issues with misplaced possessions. a laptop or notebook not in my bag, or my bag being missing.
Oh well, at least my dreams aren't boring...
