Incense burner
Nov. 16th, 2019 01:50 amWhen I was getting up (many hours ago) I had an odd thought.
I want an incense burner that looks like a sleeping dragon. The smoke would come out of his nostrils.
Alas, the closest I found online was just the head and neck of a dragon, pointing straight up.
I realize there'd be some problems, such as the smoke tending to pool at the high point of the dragon's body before coming out the nostrils. That'd require an inner shell to remove that extra space.
Of course, one possibility is a tiny fan or the like to push it out. Pulse it and it could look like like the dragon was breathing. Extra credit if you can run it of the heat of the incense.
If you do go with battery power, might as well have some dim LEDs shining from under the not entirely closed eyelids....

Hmm. Given that some flavoring/scenting compounds are safe to ingest (lavender for one, probably all the citruses for another) it might be possible to make the "bath" a drinkable punch.
Carbonation, flavor and special effects, all in one.
Though that reminds me that I'd still like to find some safely ingestable fluorescent dyes, other than quinine (tonic water).
