Would Autism Speaks be considered a hate group?

Also, what would "commune" or maybe a small town set up by and for folks on the AS spectrum be like? What sort of problems might neurotypicals have if they visited?

There might be a language barier.

Also, some Autistics are very direct, almost blunt-seeming. That could put some NT's off.

There are also spoken things that are almost, but not quite codes. 'This thing-points-blongs on that thing. Or there is that same without the pointing, and the other autistic person sort of knows what the first is speaking on.

Most of us NT's can get away with dropping trips on each other 24 hours in advance. Most autistics are not pleased with this-mostly because they need time to bu8ild up energy and 'spoons/gas' whatever metaphors you want to use.

The quiet could also put some off, if there are nonverbal or low emote people there, itcould be an interesting thing to see how they'd interact with the neurotypical visitors.

I'm using my own experience living with two who are on the spectrum, and MLP:FIM who's low emote character is Maud, Pinky-Pie's sister.
