kengrSomething that popped into my head while waiting for a computer to finish something...
"They let him live!"
"What are you talking about?"
"Those so-called professionals you hired. They got it away from him all right. But they left him stranded there. They didn't kill him!"
"You mean?.."
"Yes. He'll survive. He always does. And when he gets back he'll *know* who hired them."
A dead silence fell in the room as the two men stared at each other in horror.
"They let him live!"
"What are you talking about?"
