It's that time of year. The local vegetation is non consensually inundating my face, eyes, nose and even lung with their reproductive medium (aka pollen).
Eh, some of the adjacent sections (that I had to pass thru to get to my station) and other areas I worked later had such nice stuff as hydrofluoric acid, high temp nitric acid baths, and open tanks with 180 C mixes of sodium and potassium hydroxide (so concentrated that they *didn't* boil at those temps)
Nasty! I worked with multiple-drug resistant dysentery. You couldn't see it, taste it or smell it, it could infect you via aerosolised droplets making you shit yourself to death over a period of several days...and there was no known cure. [and that was the least nasty thing there]

It was also great when I worked in a Class 1000(might have been class 100) clean room. 8 hours a day with no allergens floating around.
