A few months back I got a couple of shopping bags worth of empty CD/DVD cases from someonme on Freecycle.

There were some cases that weren't empty in there, but when I told the person, she told me to keep them. apparently they were stuff left behind by a former hopusemate.

I finally got around to ripping the CDs and am listening to them now.

So far they're all ok listening. Not stuff I'd have bought for myself, but stuff that's an ok addition to my music library.

Next step will be re-ripping the ones I keep to FLAC files.

I rip to mp3 for my phone and a couple other [players. I rip to FLAC for the bluray player.

Losslees audio is better than lossy unless you are really tight on space.
