It came to me in a dream

kengrOk, just had an odder than usual dream.
It had the usual bits of semi-logical scenes that drift illogically into each other.
Of not is the fact that at several points I actually *was* reading things, A fairly wordy label on some baked goods (that I *had* to buy because the name was so silly/appropriate for something else in the dream). And a sort of script/scenario outline for a story or more likely an RPG adventure "nugget".
That latter is why I'm posting this (and a somewhat different version to the Traveller Mailing List)
The basic idea is a group getting hired to grab a "classic car" (centuries old, Traveller is set about 4000 years in the future) Not sure whether it'd been stolen and the owner hired them to get it back, or if it was another collector who wanted it for his collection.
My immediate thought was "wouldn't it be funny if it was the car from Back to the Future?" Including wondering what would happen if there was a chase scene and they ht 88 mph. *evil grin*
In the dream, I couldn't recall what sort of car it was, but I thought of ways to "disguise" the car by altering the name.
For example, if it was a Ford, it'd be a "Crossing Rivers". And if it was a Mustang, it'd be a Wild Horse. That sort of thing. So that when the players looked back they could slap their head and go "Oh Lord, how did we miss *that*".
Alas, DeLorean doesn't lend itself to that. Attempts to google anything about the origin/meaning of the name didn't produce anything useful.

When the light changed I was across the intersection before they even started moving and it took them close to two blocks to catch me.
They had a higher top end than I did, but my low speed acceleration beat them all to hell. :-)
