I'm writing a bit of fantasy, and I'm wonder what sort of token the Goddess might leave behind after "visiting" a mortal who'd asked for something. It shouldn't be *glaringly* obvious, as I want him to not be certain that anything really happened.

I'm thinking along the lines of a bit of vegetation, or perhaps a small stone of some sort. Something that's out of place, but that he can explain away until later.

I'm also considering having the Horned God get involved as well as His Lady. The reasons will be obvious later. Not sure if he'd leave a sign or what it might be.

I will note that the person in question hadn't really intended to summon them, and (fortunately for him) they are feeling somewhat amused.

All I'll say is that it's a definite (though unintended on the mortal's part) case of "be careful what you ask for...
