The other day the *abuse* address for my domain got the most *amazing* piece of spam I've ever seen.

Somebody actually sent it a message offering to sell child porn.

I just finished reporting it to (took me a bit to find a "best guess" as to *where* to report it.

Getting it was icky. But having it sent to the *abuse* address of my domain? Either it's an incredibly *stupid* spammer, or it's an attempt to frame or entrap someone. A badly done one.

Contact your elected representative's office.

Ask them to give you their best guess where to report it to.

It continually amazes me that people make money selling porn on the internet, a business plan akin to selling sand in the Sahara or snow in Antarctica.

Perhaps it was a more complicated scheme? For example, a phishing expedition to see if an address actually connected to a human, by pinging it with something that should provoke a response?

No, I don't get it either.
