A bit ago the local news reported an earthquake here in Portland. A 2.1 quake.

Date: 2011-04-16 01:18 am (UTC)I recall feeling the "Spring Break Quake" back in 92 or 93. First damaging quake in the area in many decades.
I felt the chair "sway" a bit. And given how far the epicenter for that one was, I doubt it was any stronger where I was than that 2.1 was in areas near it.
