Merry Bah Humbug
Dec. 25th, 2010 11:07 pmWoke up early (for me).
Traces of queasy stomach, but nothing serious.
After a few hours I had to lie down again. When I got up a check of my temp showed I had a relapse. Guess I overdid it last night. Bah.
At least I was able to get the pork roast and veggies into the crockpot and well on their way before I had to nap.
So when I finally was able to quit napping, I had some nice stuff to eat.
Had some odd dreams. In one I was sharing a house (or a small apartment building) with some folks, including my late mother.
The predominant theme of that was that she wanted me to do something (with her?) but every time she talked to me about it, she was only talking in sentence fragments, so I couldn't figure out what she wanted. And I was having no success in getting that across to her.
Hmm. I just recall a dream fragment from last week where someone was trying to get me to do something (go with them?) and I fnally had to physically hurt them to get them to stop. Which is not anything I recall dreaming before but happened at least two times in that dream. Weird.
Later dreams involved various odd but not all that weird (for dreams) stuff.
But there was one fun bit. I was dreaming about flying. As in "exert your will and go floating around".
In the dream I got thinking about the ways things would change if such an ability popped up.
I'll try to remember to do a separate post about the ideas I had there.
I already had my Christmas presents from Fay last month (she got me some stuff at Orycon) so there wasn't anything to open.
Wish I had something to give all my friends out there, but...

Date: 2010-12-26 07:12 am (UTC)I love those. I especially love the ones where I go outside, float a few inches above the pavement, then lean forward and zoom along at high speed!
I'd have come over earlier, but I figured (and looks like I was right) that you were still sick. Do you feel up to me coming over tomorrow? Let me know.

Date: 2010-12-26 11:19 am (UTC)I wish that you get better. You are a nice person and being sick is no fun. Try get some peace in your life. Deep breathing, in through your nose and slowly out through your mouth.
I send my blessings to get well soon. I rarely get sick. What do I do different than you do I wonder?
