I was reading a story that had a reference to a "Precision Briefcase Drill Team" in the Macy's parade. I googled it just because it sounded so weird.

To my surprise, it's real.

Don't know if it's the same group, but there's been a team like this at the Doo Dah Parade for years. The 1979 team is the pic on the parade's wikipedia page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Doo_Dah_Parade
