Well, in the experimental universe I daydream in at times, we replaced the body's brain with nanites that slowly learned the firing patterns and electrochemical habits of the brain cells, replacing them over time until finally all that remained was nanites. Then we tranferred our consciousness into a huge supercomputer built into a dyson sphere, but only because our intelligence had grown too massive for a human body due to enhancements to our thought processes, and live vicariously through nanite-enhanced "meat puppet" bodies we program with templates of our original personalities. But we could do the same for you, with or without the enhancements, then you could transfer to a reasonably sized female body of your own design. And in the event you're killed, your mind would be frequently backed up to the dyson sphere via transdimensional subspace transciever, so you'd be effectively immortal. Unless you someday decide you'd like to either purge your memory banks and start over, or be decompiled. It's kept as an option because immortality could get boring and/or insane-making. *We* would be shielded from that a little by the fact we're already thoroughly insane, but you? Dunno how crazy you are. :-D
Would that kind of assimilation sound good to you? :-)
