LJ hacked

As you may have already noticed, some video and media embedding in LiveJournal entries have been disabled, and content and security level of some entries may have changed unexpectedly. Both are related to a web security exploit that affected some entries on LiveJournal for approximately two hours today.

I got hit. Check your LJ if you saw anything on my entry from the 19th (as that's what got infected)

I've never used embeds. WAs this an exploit requiring embeds?

I'd suggest disemboweling the perps before making sausages of them IN their intestines. Those sausages to be the last meal of any accomplices.

It merely requires that embeds not be *disabled* on your LJ, and that you have viewed one of the infected embeds.
