I wore too light a jacket when running errands on Mon and Tues. I've definite got a full fledged cold. Ick.

Fever, nose has the weird feeling inside that it gets when I have a cold (due to the CPAP if I don't clog up inside I get this sort of not quite sandpapered feeling) Throat down to lungs... etc.

Too bad you don't have my constitution. I was once naked in the rain in December in Iowa (it was a warm winter, still pretty fucking cold though) for 15 minutes or more (by choice) and never got so much as a sniffle. And while it's the only time I've been naked in the rain and cold, I have been less than properly attired for the cold and not caught a cold. Probably because I never paid any attention to all that crap about catching a cold due to coldness. If I catch a cold, it's because of germs. I don't think I've ever caught a cold because of the temperature.

I'm a 54 year old diabetic with no meds and a lousy diet. And a fair bit of stress.

It's not the cold, it's that the cold adds more stress which makes it easier for stuff that's already there yto go out of control.
