Given that I'm coming up on my 11th wedding anniversary to someone with whom the relationship started by us laying all our cards on the table, it seems to me that being straight (um, honest ;-) with each other is much more likely to work than making your partner play guessing games.
But then, I'm not what most people would consider "normal" anyway ;-).
Reading though that again, is would seems that "the wife" _never_ means "yes." How idiotic.
