And took a few photos
Where I dropped my ballot

New trucks lined up outside the County Elections office (the entrance is at the far end of the block from where I shot this)

Another shot of the news trucks, but also showing the line of people who needed ballots or something.

Note that this was at 2 PM. By 8pm it's gonna be even more of a zoo.
The drop box was across the street from the elections office. It was on the east side of a north south street ( I was facing south when I took that shot)
When I took those last 2 pics, I was at the western end of the block the offices were on (they're the Gray building.
Just across the street behind me was a Sandwich shop that's been there for *years* (Gretchen's Kitchen, if you are local try them.) It's only open to 3 or 4pm and I'd made a point of getting there early enough so I could treat myself. Had a meatloaf sandwhich which I took home and had for dinner. Mmmm.
A couple blocks farther down is my bank which I deposited a couple of checks in. After that it was back home
I've got the news on in the background. Being on the West Coast the network had coverage of East Coast stuff on when I checked at 4pm.
Right now it's local news with a big emphasis on election stuff. Like some shots of that same line. :-)
