Oh, my. They've failed my minimum standard.

If somebody has a job that I wouldn't hire myself to do, and does it worse than I would have, that's below my minimum.

Actually the scariest one is that real professional setup with the low row of racks, with *hundreds* of cables run in a relatively neat manner. But all yellow and no indication of any sort of labeling.

Yes, but I know enough to do something to ID the cables. I learned that from Computer Stupidities, where the guy setting up the network used knots. There's better ways to do it, but it's useful info.

Seems a natural for a cyberpunk game. "We need to jack in at the right point in the hardware" (Scatters pictures) "Have fun!'

Traveller PCs get an old ship from a patron to do a job with. And then there's a system failure and they go to investigate...

There are a few pics that'd work well.

Or that rooftop (indoor!) router is where they gotta tap into the bad guys' network. :-)
