Apparently I've served as a role model.

(ok, you can quit laughing now)

Saturday, at the party, I was talking to someone I've known for years. He's been attending these parties en femme for a while.

Imagine my shock when he mentioned that it was my "fault". He'd thought about doing it a few times, but hadn't had the courage to try.

Then he'd seen Brooke at the parties and figured "If Leonard can do it, I can do it."

I think he looks a lot better than I do. :-)

But it was still a bit of a shock finding out that I'd been that sort of influence on someone.

Hmmm... but at least it was a positive influence, right? I personally think it's a great thing if you helped someone to be able to express who they are with confidence. :)

Well, it's more the thought of me being a "good influence. :-)

And when I get other stuff dealt with so that I've got the time to devote being Brooke (Brooke is moderately high maintenance, compared with Leonard :-) I may ask him if he'd care to go somewhere (say a restaurant or movie) either with just the two of us, or as part of one of the outings the local TV/TG/TS group has.
