Minor quibble - the Canary Islands are in the ATLANTIC ocean, not the Pacific.

I knew 4 - the Hundred Years War, Panama hats, Chinese gooseberries, which are actually kiwi fruit, and the black box. I thought the Canary Islands question was a trick because of the ocean switch, but I wouldn't have known it anyway.

I figured much the same. And since I knew that there were two *different* "Christmas Island"s in different oceans, I figured this was the same.

Being the intelligent intellect that I am, I know that the black box is orange. So that last question is a trick question unless you are technologically aware. But you may not know that there are sometimes multiple answers to each of the questions. I like dabbling in languages from time to time and the history of language is quite fascinating for one such as me.
