I was annoyed at the question linking meditation and prayer. Meditation is not linked to a particular faith, but a method of calming and organizing thoughts. Hell, I learned to meditate in freaking sniper school!

We actually used meditation for biofeedback, a high pulse rate can ruin a shot at 600+ meters. In fact, we were taught to know our cardio pause (the moment the heart is at rest) and shoot then.

Silly thought. Do you have any thoughts on how well various proposed and fictional future weapons would work for snipers?
