Urge to kill stupid person...
May. 30th, 2007 01:41 pmRemember my complaining about being woken up after too little sleep?
It happened Friday, it happened Saturday, it happened Sunday (but that was a friend's kid telling me his dad was in the hospital), I don't recall if it happened yesterday. And it happened again today. All at around 10-10:30.
Today I managed to catch the person. They'd (as before) rung the doorbell three times. Ring [pause] ring [pause] ring
By the time I got out of bed and pulled on some pants, there was (as before) nobody there. But I spotted somebody getting into a van (it looked a bit like it might by door-to-door preachers)
I said "You ring my doorbell?" several times and the woman finally got out and said something like "Number 6? I looking for [unnitelligible name]" and something about "spanish". I said I'd lived there for years.
Wasn't until I got back upstairs that I realized I should have given them a lecture along the lines of "You ring the doorbell and you had best *wait* long enough for someone to get out of bed and pull on clothes before you walk off. You don't just ring several times and leave."
