It's a post using a political cartoon reminding us of the Holocaust and related horrors. Thing is, the author is very selective in his listing of victims. He mentions 1,900 Catholic priests, but there's nary a mention of the 4,000-12,000 gay men who died in the camps.

For those of you not aware of it, the pink triangle symbol used by a lot of gay causes comes from the fact that just as Jews had to wear the yellow stars, gays had to wear a pink triangle.

And when the camps were liberated? The gays were put in *jail*. The German government didn't apologize to *them* until 2002.

Yeah, I definitely agree this is disturbing. The comic itself I found to be poignant, relevant and actually touching. The commentary attached is very suspect. "Islamo-Fascists" is a completely fabricated moniker, and the whole thing smacks of a "support war, support bush" theme.

And what about all the Polish and Gypsy folk who were put in Nazi labor camps only to be "liberated" by the Russians into prison camps?
